Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and TEMURIYDEVS LTD (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15282812, with its registered office at International House, 10 Churchill Way, Cardiff, United Kingdom, CF10 2HE.

They govern your access to detecting-ai.com, related services delivered through api.detecting-ai.com, accounts, paid plans, and any API or integration that refers to these Terms (together, the “Service”). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference where applicable.

You must be at least 13 to use the Service. If you are not old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable care. Accounts are personal unless a team or business plan expressly allows shared administration.

Some checks are available without an account. An account may be required for longer checks, saved history, paid allowances, API keys, or account management.

The Service provides automated tools that may include AI-writing detection, plagiarism search, claim review, text transformation, document analysis, APIs, and related account features. The exact tools and limits available to you are those shown on the relevant page or at checkout.

We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features. We will not charge you for a materially different paid service without the notice or consent required by law. Beta, preview, or free features may change more frequently and may be withdrawn.

AI detection is probabilistic. A score does not prove who wrote a document or whether misconduct occurred. Plagiarism results identify similarities and possible sources; they are not a legal conclusion about copyright, authorship, or academic integrity. Fact-checking results can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong and may provide research leads rather than verified citations.

You must review the underlying text, sources, drafts, context, and any applicable rules. Do not use an automated result as the sole basis for discipline, grading, hiring, dismissal, credit, housing, medical, legal, financial, or another consequential decision about a person.

The Service is not professional legal, medical, financial, or academic advice. Current or high-impact claims should be checked against an authoritative primary source and, where appropriate, a qualified professional.

You retain your rights in text, files, prompts, exclusions, and other material you submit (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, transmit, reproduce, and process Your Content only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested Service, secure and troubleshoot it, comply with law, and maintain account history or a share link you choose to create. This permission ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for temporary backups, security records, or legal retention requirements.

We do not use Your Content to train a general-purpose AI model unless you separately and expressly agree. You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to submit Your Content and that our processing of it as described here will not violate another person's rights.

You may not use the Service to:

• break the law or facilitate fraud, abuse, or harm;
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
• upload personal, confidential, or restricted information without authority;
• distribute malware, probe vulnerabilities, interfere with the Service, or access another account;
• bypass rate limits, security checks, plan restrictions, or technical safeguards;
• scrape, copy, benchmark, reverse engineer, or automate access at a scale that burdens the Service, except where law cannot prohibit it or an authorised API plan allows it;
• resell, sublicense, or provide account access to others unless your plan or a written agreement permits it; or
• misrepresent an automated result as certain proof or use the Service to evade rules that apply to your work, course, employer, or client.

We may apply reasonable technical limits and investigate activity that appears to threaten users, providers, or the Service.

Free and paid plan limits, prices, billing periods, and included features are displayed on the Pricing page and at checkout. Unless checkout says otherwise, a subscription renews for the same billing period until cancelled. Cancel before the renewal date to prevent the next charge. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period.

Paddle acts as merchant of record for current web subscriptions and handles payment details, tax, invoicing, and checkout. A purchase is also subject to the terms presented by Paddle, including its Buyer Terms. Prices are shown in the indicated currency; taxes or local pricing may be added or converted at checkout.

You can request cancellation or billing help through your account when available, Paddle's buyer support, or support@detecting-ai.com. Refund eligibility is governed by the checkout terms and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms removes a mandatory cancellation, refund, withdrawal, or other consumer right.

Paid plans are subject to the stated usage limits and reasonable abuse controls. “Unlimited” means no ordinary daily count for normal human use; it does not permit automated extraction, resale, shared accounts, or activity that degrades the Service.

If you use an API, MCP connection, browser extension, or other integration, you must protect credentials, follow its documentation, and remain within the applicable plan and usage limits. You are responsible for requests made with your credentials until you revoke them or notify us of a compromise.

Do not embed a private API key in public client code. We may rotate or revoke compromised keys and make reasonable compatibility or security changes to an integration. Additional written terms may apply to enterprise or separately contracted services.

The Service, including its software, interface, branding, reports, documentation, and original site content, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer our intellectual property to you.

If you send product feedback, you allow us to use it without payment or restriction, but this does not give us ownership of Your Content. Contact us if you believe material on the Service infringes your rights.

The Service relies on providers such as Google Firebase and Vertex AI, Paddle, Cloudflare, SendPulse, and search infrastructure and may link to independent sources or websites. Their services and content are governed by their own terms and policies. We are responsible for choosing and instructing processors where data law makes us responsible, but we do not control independent websites, payment terms, or source content.

We aim to provide a reliable Service, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, provider outages, model changes, security incidents, capacity, and events outside reasonable control may affect access or results.

We may update models and methods, so the same text can receive a different result at another time. We may impose emergency restrictions when necessary to protect users, data, providers, or system integrity.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not by itself delete the account. To request account deletion, use the account control when available or email support@detecting-ai.com.

We may restrict or suspend access when we reasonably believe you have materially breached these Terms, created a security or legal risk, failed to pay, or used the Service in a way that harms others or the platform. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and a chance to address the issue. Serious abuse may result in immediate termination.

Sections that by their nature should continue, such as payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability provisions, survive termination.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that an automated classification, similarity match, source lead, rewrite, or other output is complete, accurate, original, non-infringing, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for business loss arising from consumer use, or for a decision made by treating an automated result as proof contrary to these Terms. Your mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

If you use the Service for business purposes, then to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the fees you paid us for the Service during that period.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that a consumer may also rely on mandatory rights and bring a claim in the courts available under the law of the country where they live.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Billing disputes involving Paddle may also be handled through the support and dispute processes shown in Paddle's checkout terms.

If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a term immediately is not a waiver. You may not transfer your agreement with us without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a reorganisation, financing, or sale if your rights are not materially reduced.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, providers, risk, or law. We will post the new version and update the effective date. We will give additional notice when required, and will seek consent before a change where mandatory law requires it.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the checkout terms, and any additional written terms for a particular plan form the entire agreement about the Service. Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, but this does not excuse payment obligations already due or reduce mandatory consumer rights.
